Hello Reader,
Do you ever wonder how you could feel more joy, more aliveness, and a greater sense of well-being in your life? đź’š The answer may be very simple and free: step outside into nature, breathe, and let your body move.
In a brand new video, I have just released, I am sharing the gifts of what I love to call "nature dancing" where healing movement, breathing and heart centering practices are supported by one's connection with Earth. Dancing in nature is one of my most profound and deeply sacred passions and practices I give myself on a regular basis. Forest bathing meets free-flow movement, conscious breathing and heart centering to bloom into "nature dancing." Why and how it feels so enlivening and beneficial to play, dance, breathe, and be present with self can be scientifically explained, though I find it just as wondrous from spiritual, quantum and magical perspectives as well.
This is my "love letter," my ode of gratitude, my celebration of some of my most profound life experiences in nature... my poem I brought to life in film, "When I dance in nature..." .....enjoy this 12 minute video episode!
Thanks in large part due to slow traveling in my wooden tiny house on wheels, I have had the honor of dancing in a whole variety of different natural landscapes across the American West. From the giant Redwoods of northern California to the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, from the Cascade Mountains to the Oregon Coast, in rain, in snow, in sunshine and everywhere in between, I have danced with nature. In dancing in nature, I am reminded that I am not separate from nature, for I am nature. We are nature.
We are living in fast moving, dynamic, and evolving times, and I feel it is essential to have practices that bring us into alignment with our hearts and whole being aliveness... Dancing in nature is certainly a gift I give myself and in that capacity how I can share the energy of love with more than just myself, with those around me, and certainly Earth, herself. We are all individuals, yet also part of one beautiful whole.
I encourage you to step outside, into your back yard, at a local park or beach, or go on a hike, and give yourself some minutes to become present in the moment, breathe consciously, and just let your body move in ways that feel good and inspired by your wonder and love for nature. Let it be meditation and play combined. See and feel what happens...
May you find love in your heart, playfulness in your movement, wonderment in nature, and presence in the breath you breathe.
Much love to you dear soul.
Your friend,
Megan Bloom
