I hope message this finds you healthy and at least in the proximity of feeling love for someone, something and hopefully yourself...
I realize I have not visited your email inbox for a few weeks with a new message. Well here I am... I have been through a lot of innerwork and emotional releases over the past few weeks. This is not at all meant to be a sad email, rather an email filled with love and gratitude.
Sometimes it's in the final days of a beloved's life that one gets to truly realize what being "eternal" really means.
I got to share more than 13 incredible years with my absolutely incredible fur friend Uluru. My red girl was truly a wild soul that graced my life with so much love and awe everyday. She challenged, inspired and loved me into who I am today by her unwavering authentic presence.
In the end, her physical body was ailing in so many ways, and yet her tenacity did not falter. The amount of time I shared even in her most physically challenging final weeks, was preciously appreciated down to every single moment giving me ample time to realize everything she taught me and everything I am still learning about myself. Her physical goodbye was one of the toughest in my whole life.
Uluru has crossed the "Rainbow Bridge" and is now free from an ailing body, and I am so relieved.

I share about my dog because she has been and is one of my teachers and greatest cheerleaders. She truly LOVED to watch me dance, and I feel like her greatest wish for me is to dance freely, unapologetically, and unwavering, true to my soul every day for the rest of my blessed life. Her strength, beauty and resilience throughout her physical life inspired me in so many ways!

Over the past few weeks, as the emotions of her goodbye drew near, I realized how much her death was stirring up within me... a whole slew of deeply held beliefs, fears, limiting thought patterns, and sorrow surrounding death, physical reality versus energetic presence, guilt, life not following "the plan," identity crisis, selfishness, and sentimentality... heavy deep stuff coming to the surface... because of which, I needed to just focus on being with her AND processing what was coming up within me.

Everything I thought I really understood about what being "eternal" really means, I now understand even more.
There is a reason why I founded Eternal Dancers... it's because I feel we are ALL "eternal" beings on a journey of growth, creation and love beyond the limits of any one lifetime. Our lives are a "dance" of breath and motion. We are meant to move, grow and evolve, and sometimes we do that by drawing inward and other times we do that through a whole lot of free-flow dance expression.
We are eternal and those we love are eternal too, therefore no one we love is ever gone, just "shape shifted" into a different dimension.
I have already felt Uluru's spirit several times in a way that truly lets me feel the gift of what "being eternal" means for us who are alive in bodies, and those who have passed on.
I will share more in the coming weeks about somatic practices, movement, breathwork, and heart meditations that can offer a whole lot of support through the grief journey and that have served as my healing medicine during this tough time of letting go and adjusting to a new way of being.
In the meantime, I am celebrating the life of my beloved friend and teacher, Uluru... who is likely running free on her beach by the ocean...she loved the Oregon Coast.
There is love all around.
Thank you dear Uluru.
If you are dealing with and processing any type of grief right now, I invite you to reach out and share that with me. Together we feel, heal and grow.
🕊If there is someone who know that you feel would resonate with this message, please forward this email to them.🙏
